This course covers a comprehensive range of Topics and Metodologies for Teaching Business English and provides a vision about Business in Malta. It not only looks at language of business but also at the communication skills involving in becoming a more effective Business English Teacher. 

 

 

Day 1 - Arriva

Participants will be transferred from the airport to the accommodation in Sliema

Day 2 - Focus on·

"What is a business? Entrepreneurial and business idea seminar". Trainer: Chev. Vito Calianno Founder and Director of Focal Office and e-MFin SA.  Trip “Smart City Malta” global network of business townships

 

Day 3 - How to create a business?·

Enterprise development and short introduction to the business plan. 

A success case: Mr. Matthew Bezzina Founder and Director of Ecabs. Graduated from University of Malta, he set up the company in early 2010.

 

Day 4 - Let´s get started!·

"Digital Marketing" seminar. Trainer: Mr. Luciano Borg. Luciano Borg has more than 6 years' SEO experience working for Web Development Companies, International Language Schools and the iGaming Industry.· Workshop: Digital Marketing / SEO / Google + Google Analytics

 

Day 5 - Success or failure factors·

Business English Lesson - "Expanding vocabulary for educators"

Teacher: Ms. Rosemarie Fava B.Ed (Hons) English and TEFL

"How to create a professional European CV"

Trainer: Mr. Libero Dachille

 

Day 6 - My idea of a business·

Participants will be invited to introduce a short presentation about their idea of a possible business and how to create it

FEES AND REGISTRATION

This course is funded by ERASMUS+ Programme. The amount of funding depends on the rules of the Member State from where the applicant applies. The funding will cover course fees and training material.

COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is ideal for all those educators (primary & secondary teachers, university staff (academic & admin), adult educators, trainers & coaches) who want to acquire information about biological agriculture, learn about biological production methods,  compare and contrast bio-production methods, exchange best practices on bio-production, learn about Maltese laws on biological production, understand the mechanism of the biological production chain.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The seminar is spread over 7 days, from Sunday till Sunday. Every day would consist of a morning session and an afternoon session with one coffee break. The program will include also excursion and business visits.
